UofL BASEBALL | Cards win series against Tigers

04/16/2016 08:19 PM

Make it four straight for the Cardinals. Pitcher Drew Harrington allowed 11 hits, but got the outs when needed (with some help from relievers Jake Sparger and Zack Burdi), as Louisville defeated Clemson 7-2. Harrington improves his record to 8-1 on the season. Coupled with yesterday’s 15-2 Cards win over the Tigers, UofL will now go for the series sweep Sunday at 1pm.

Corey Ray, Danny Rosenbaum, and Drew Ellis all had two hits for the Cardinals, who have only trailed for half an inning the entire series. With the win, the Cards improve to 28-7 overall, 12-5 in the ACC, while Clemson falls to 24-11, 8-9 in conference.
