The Cards are heading to Omaha after beating Kennesaw State 7-4 Saturday night.
Louisville took the first and second games of the Super Regional round to advance to the CWS for the second time in two years.
The Owls of KSU struck first, scoring one run in the home half of the first. Louisville retaliated in the third inning behind a pair of runs driven in by Nick Solak and Jeff Gardner respectively.
Kennesaw countered with three runs of their own in the bottom of the third.
Louisville would go ahead for good late in the game, adding three runs in the fifth and another two in the sixth to take a commanding 7-4 lead that held through the final three frames.
Cards pitcher Anthony Kidston got the win in the game, improving to 9-0 on the year.
Louisville joins Texas as the first two teams to punch tickets to Omaha. The Cards will face the winner of the Vanderbilt-Stanford series in the first round of the CWS.
