10/07/2011 10:47 AM

On Friday, DuPont Manual will have the chance to unseat an undefeated and nationally-ranked Louisville Trinity.

The Trinity Shamrocks haven’t lost a district game in more than 7 years and the last time they lost to a Kentucky school was back in 2009 when they played Louisville St. X for the state title.

Last week, Trinity beat St. X 41-6; they have won all six games so far this season by an average of 37 points. Manual is also undefeated at 6-0, beating Butler 40-35 last weekend.

During practice this week, Manual players told cn|2 Sports they have what it takes to pull out a win over Trinity.

Manual Coach Oliver Lucas tells Chip Cosby how he feels his team matches up with Trinity.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 on Friday at Trinity.
