Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for the Kentucky Wildcats, news came out today that freshman running back Josh Clemons will miss the rest of the season after tearing the meniscus in a knee.
Clemons is the team’s leading rusher, averaging nearly 47 yards rushing per game.
UK head coach Joker Phillips says Clemons injured his knee in Saturday’s game against South Carolina.
It’s another blow to the offense that is ranked 119th out of 120 football bowl subdivision schools.
The Cats are averaging 229 yards of offense per game. They host Jacksonville State on October 22nd.
