Last weekend’s loss to Notre Dame was little more than a speed bump for the Louisville Women’s Basketball Team. Myisha Hines Allen had 29 points and Mariya Moore had 21 as the Cards pound the Pitt Panthers 84-61.

Cortnee Walton added a double-double, 18 points and 10 rebounds, as 12th ranked
U of L improves to 19-6 overall, 11-1 in the ACC. The Cards need to keep winning. The top 16 teams will host the first two games of the NCAA Tournament. If Louisville does earn that right, and wins the games, the Cards wuld robably advance to regional action in Lexington. The final four takes lace in Indianapolis. So the more Louisville wins, the better the chance the Cards have of staying at, or near, home.

Next up is a Monday night game (9pm) in the YUM enter, against South Florida.
