Teddy Bridgewater remains calm amid scrutiny

If the pressure of a dropping draft status is bothering Teddy Bridgewater, you sure wouldn’t guess it by looking at him.

The former Louisville signal caller, who is in New York waiting for the start of the 2014 NFL Draft, tweeted out a picture of him hamming it up with filmmaker Spike Lee.

Bridgewater tweeted, “Not Everyday You Get To Take A Snap From Spike Lee In The Middle Of New York Outside Of Radio City Music Hall While Traffic Is Coming. #Blessed #GUMP

At one point, Bridgewater was the odds on favorite to be selected number one overall in this years draft, but after a lackluster performance at his pro day, he has seen his draft projections drop as low as second round according to some “experts.”

In an interview with ESPN last week, Bridgewater discussed his poor performance at his pro day saying, “The game tape speaks volumes because I’m in live action, I’m out there making reads, going through progressions, redirection protection, signaling hot routes, getting the offense in and out of the right play. Looking at those things, I think those things outweigh the pro day.”

The 2014 Draft starts Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network, Time Warner Cable channel 926.
