Sydney Moss: "You don't have to go D1 to make your dreams come true"

In April, Sydney Moss finished her college basketball career with two back-to-back undefeated National Championships and three National Player of the Year awards. She led the nation in scoring both her sophomore and junior years, and assist to turnover ratio in her senior season. Moss made a name for herself in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area (as well as, across the country) for breaking records, unbelievable statistics and the ability to take over any game. Thomas More College will retire her No. 40 jersey next season, something almost unheard of in Division III athletics.

Moss is now preparing to take her game to the next level. She’s working out at Town & Country in Northern Kentucky in hopes to begin a career playing professionally overseas. Sydney took a break from her training to sit down with me and discuss her unique experience as a SEC Division I basketball player turned DIII 2x National Champ.
