St. X looks to snap Trinity's 7-game winning streak

Even though a number of undefeated teams remain in Kentucky high school football, a pair of 4-2 teams are the headliner for this week’s Friday schedule.

Trinity and St. X will play at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium in the latest game of their heated rivalry. To date, Trinity has played only out-of-state teams, so it will be the Shamrocks first game against a fellow Kentucky school. As for St. X, the Tigers only losses on the year came at the hands of two powers in Bowling Green and Moeller (Oh.).

In other action Friday, the unbeaten Male Bulldogs will put their 5-0 record on the line against last year’s 6A state runner-up Meade County.

Also, 6-0 Christian Academy of Louisville will hope to stay perfect on the season. The Centurioins will host 4-1 Bardstown, who suffered their first loss last week against DeSales.
