Seven-Foot Center Commits to the Cards

The University of Louisville basketball team, in sore need of post players after this season, received a commitment from 7’2” center Anas Osama Mahmoud. Mahmoud was also considering UK, Cincinnati, Kansas and Florida.

Mahmoud, a four-star recruit, is ranked as the 9th best center in the 2014 class according to ESPN.com. He has been a member of the Egyptian National Team since 2009.

Mahmoud becomes the 6th recruit of the 2014 class joining Shaqquan Aaron, Quentin Snider, Jaylen Johnson, Matz Stockman and Chinanu Onuaku.
