Report: Bengals and A.J. Green agree to contract extension

According Cincinnati Enquirer reporter, Jim Owczarski, A.J. Green and the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a long term contract extension. The deal is a four-year extension for $60 million, with a total deal of five years at $70 million. The extension has now been confirmed by the Bengals organization.

Reports surfaced Thursday after practice that talks were heating up between the Bengals and Green but they weren’t able to finalize the deal until today just before the team heads to Oakland this afternoon for their first regular season game.
