Reds, Make-A-Wish celebrate granting of 13,000th wish

Thirteen-year-old Brock received a once-in-a-lifetime gift on Friday when he had the opportunity to hang out with his favorite baseball team, the Cincinnati Reds.

Brock battles a life-threatening autoimmune disease and finds joy in following the Reds. That’s why the Reds partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to create a day Brock would never forget when the Reds took on the Washington Nationals at The Great American Ballpark.

Brock’s wish to meet the Reds players would also become the Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana chapter’s 13,000th wish granted. Louisville Slugger helped to celebrate the milestone by creating a commemorative bat that the Reds players and Brock’s family signed.
