Louisville safety Calvin Pryor, who was selected 18th overall by the New York Jets, is ready to play some football. In an interview with he says that, “…he looks to be a leader…and a great teammate. I look to intimidate guys.” Louisville fans know all to well the reckless abandon that Pryor plays with. Last season, Pryor accounted for 75 tackles and three interceptions and expects that to continue now that he’ll be suiting up on Sundays.

Calvin expects to excel in a defense that is highly-ranked and is run by Head Coach Rex Ryan and Defensive Coordinator Dennis Thurman.

In discussing Pryor, Rex Ryan said, “This young man is an enforcer. (He’s) very talented and has great range…he’s a hitter.”
