UofL will have a bit of an advantage in Saturday’s game against N.C. State.
The Wolfpack suspended seven players for the match-up after they were involved in a ‘BB gun game’ last week.

Of the seven suspended players, N.C. State will miss sophomore wide reciever, Jonathan Alston, redshirt freshman linebacker Jerod Fernandez and redshirt freshman safety Josh Jones the most.

Fernandez leads the team in tackles and tied Jones with a team high 13 tackles in last week’s loss to Boston College. Fernandez also leads the team in interceptions with two.

Alston has played in all seven games and has 14 catches for 131 receiving yards and a touchdown.

UofL Head Coach Bobby Petrino discussed the suspensions on Monday at his weekly press conference.

UofL will face the Wolfpack at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium Saturday at 3:30
