The Louisville Cardinals had a 5-3 victory over Kennesaw State last night in the first of a best of three game series in the NCAA Super Regionals. But don’t count the Owls out yet.

Kennesaw State Head Baseball Coach Mike Sansing says his team turned things around earlier in the season when thry were struggling in th Atlantic Sun Conference. For motivation the team used, of all things, a pro-wrestling style championship belt. They started with a simple look-alike pro belt they bought at Walmart that they would give to the player who performed the best in each winning game. And that was working out really well.. they went on a winning streak. Then KSU’s Assistant Coach Trey Fowler found a better belt.

Kennesaw State and UofL play tonight at 7 and if KSU wins the two teams will meat again Sunday at 6pm.
