NASCAR | Kentucky Speedway gets a new look but keeps old charm
02/18/2016 11:30 AM
NASCAR’s Sprint Cup season starts this Sunday with the Daytona 500. Meanwhile, in Sparta, Kentucky, modifications and improvements continue taking place at the Kentucky Speedway.
The track itself is being repaved, but also turn two is being narrowed. By making this change in turn two, designers can leave turn three alone. And it is turn three that helps produce that bumpy, rough ride that has made the Kentucky Speedway so popular among drivers, and fans alike.
The next set of NASCAR races at the Kentucky Speedway, is Thursday July 7th through Saturday July 9th.
