Meet the 2014 KY High School All-Stars

06/12/2014 01:06 PM

The 2014 Kentucky High School All-Stars are preparing for this weekend’s double header against the Indiana High School All-Stars. The first game will be Friday night at The Beck Center on the campus of Transylvania University in Lexington. This will be the first “home” game since 2008 that hasn’t been played in Louisville. The girls game will tip at 5:30 and the boys will follow immediately thereafter. The return match will be this Saturday at Bankers Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The girls game will tip at 5pm Saturday with the boys to follow.

To say the boys games have been one-sided would be an understatement. The Indiana boys are 17-1 against their Kentucky counterparts since 2005. The lone Kentucky win was in 2008 when they were led by Mr. Basketball Darius Miller.

The girls games have been much more even keeled, although the Indiana girls hold a slight advantage going 10-8 in the same time frame.
