01/13/2015 10:19 PM

Chris Jones had a season high 11 assists to go along with 7 points. Mangok Mathiang had a season high 11 points to go along with 8 rebounds, and Terry Rozier wound up with a team high 16 points, as UofL never trailed, and beat Virginia Tech easily 78-63.

The 6th ranked Cards finished the first half on a 10-zip run and then scored the first 6 points of the second half. That cumulative 16-0 run effectively put the Hokies away. Four Cards finished in double figures, including Wayne Blackshear who finished with 15 points, and Montrezl Harrell who wound up with 11 points, 8 boards, and a rolled up ankle that was heavily iced after the game. However Harrell says he will be OK.

With the win Louisville improves to 15-2 overall, 3-1 in the ACC while VA tech fallas to 8-8 and 0-3.
