Louisville Football releases depth chart

Four days before they face off in Atlanta, Louisville and Auburn have both released their depth charts. And, just as expected, Head Coach Bobby Petrino managed to avoid narrowing the quarterback discussion. The word “or” breaks up all four of the UofL QB options and every single offensive line position. The Cardinals have now effectively released a depth chart with minimum indication of starting players, the exception being the skill positions. Jamari Staples, James Quick, and Ja’Quay Savage will take the fields with the ones on game day at wide receiver, and Captain Brandon Radcliff will be the number one running back.
Here is the full Offensive depth chart released by Louisville:
On Defense, the only mystery is who earns starting honors in the cornerback spots. It is likely that Shaq Wiggins, Jaire Alexander and Trumaine Washington will all see plenty of game time with Duke Culver and Cornelius Sturghill apparently in the mix as well. Josh Harvey-Clemens and Chucky Williams have earned the nod at safety and the front seven will be the guys Petrino has praised all preseason.
