Louisville FC Goalie Scott Goodwin is on his game (and so is his team)

Just like the temperatures, Louisville FC is heating up this month. Lou City has won 2 games in a row, and three of four, all at home. The team’s record has now improved to 4-1 with 3 draws.
There’s two big reasons for the club’s recent success. First, they have been outscoring the daylights out of opponents. The last two games have been won by a combined 7 goals. Second, the “bad guys” just cannot get a goal in the net. Those two scores were 3-0 and 4-0 (wins over Wilmington and Toronto). In fact Louisville goalie Scott Goodwin has been so dominant, he has not allowed a ball in the net at home since April 16th, a 1-1 draw against Rochester.
Goodwin stopped by our studios to talk some soccer. He tells us this is a big week for Lou FC. The team has two straight road games coming up, Wednesday in Lansing (a USOC game) and Sunday at Saint Louis. How the locals do in those games could go a long way to determining the season they have.
