Louisville Defeats Missouri State 90-60

The Cardinals still have to face Florida International before traveling to Lexington, but the crowd at the KFC Yum! Center chanted “Beat UK!” tonight as the clock ran out on UofL’s dominating win against Missouri State.

Once the Cards started rolling, Louisville never let up on the gas. Montrezl Harrell led the team in scoring 17 points, and UofL went on to defeat Missouri State 90-60. Louisville dominated on the boards, grabbing a total of 51 rebounds, 20 of them offensive rebounds. In his first game back from a wrist injury, Chris Jones came off the bench to score nine points, grab two rebounds and dish out one assist. Russ Smith had another impressive night with 11 points and eight assists.

Louisville travels to Miami to take on Florida International this Saturday before taking on the Kentucky Wildcats December 28. The Cards tip off against the Golden Panthers this Saturday at 6 p.m. ET.
