For nearly 16 minutes of game time, it looked like Louisville was going to pitch a first-half shutout against Savannah State. But with 4:02 remaining, Saadiq Muhammad sunk 1-2 free throws and the Tigers were on the scoreboard.

It was 29-1 at that point, and UofL would lead 41-7 at halftime. The game did not get any better in the back half, with the Cards running away for a 87-26 victory despite emptying the bench for the final eight minutes.

Montrezl Harrell led UofL with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Wayne Balackshear, Terry Rozier and Chinanu Onuaku also scored in double digits.

Quite simply, there was not much the Cards could take away from this game. Head coach Rick Pitino said he usually enjoys reviewing film, but he will not set his eyes on this game tape.
