Louisville completely obliterates FIU 72-0
09/21/2013 05:22 PM
The Cards only put together 464 yards of offense but the defense held FIU to just 30 yards of total offense. Teddy Bridgewater passed for 212 yards and four touchdowns, but the game brought on a little controversy, as well. The game went to a running clock as UofL was clearly on their way to a victory, and after the game there was some confusion as to who made the call to institute the running clock. After the dust settled, it was ruled as a “misunderstanding.” The Cards fell one point shy of tying the modern-day school scoring record, which was set against Murray, in a 73-10 win in 2007.
