Louisville City FC falls to Orlando City B in the last few minutes of the game

Louisville City FC and Orlando City B played in front of more than 8,000 fans at Louisville’s Slugger Field Saturday night. For most of the game Louisville City dominated play. Midfielder Guy Abend’s header off the corner put Louisville City ahead 1-0 and the held that score for most of the game.

But just before the 90th minute Orlando City got another penalty kick. Orlando hadn’t shown much promise with any of their other free kicks before that. But this time Goalkeeper Gregory Ranjitsingh just barely got a hand on it and it wasn’t enough to prevent the goal and tie up the game. Louisville City’s defense was then almost immediately caught unorganized on the back when they allowed a second goal.

The game ended with the crowd booing in disappointment over the 1-2 defeat for Louisville City.
