Louisville Baseball Gets Homecoming From Omaha

The UofL baseball team landed back in Louisville Tuesday afternoon and were greeted by Cards fans proud of their team’s best season in program history. Even though the Cards didn’t bring home a national championship, their school record 51 wins will go down in the books.

Louisville was knocked out of the College World Series after losing 11-4 to Oregon State on Monday night. Oregon State’s 11 runs was the most allowed by Louisville all season. Combine that with UofL’s season high four errors during the game and the Cards just couldn’t pull off the win.

Oregon State will move on to play Indiana in an elimination game.
