The woman at the center of the University of Louisville Basketball scandal spoke live for the first time on Friday.

Katina Powell was joined by two of her daughters on ABC’s The View to answer questions about the book she authored , “Breaking Cardinal Rules.” The book claims Powell was paid by former UofL staffer Andre McGee to provide strippers to entertain and have sex with basketball recruits and players.

During the interview, Powell admitted that her book was written to make money. She also said she notified the NCAA before contacting IBJ Publishing but said “they did nothing.”

Powell’s daughter, Rod-ni, who joined her for the interview said attending the parties was “fun” but said “it’s not as bad as people make it seem.”

On Tuesday, ESPN’s Outside the Lines broadcast an extensive interview with Powell. The report named Montrezl Harrell, JaQuan Lyle, Jordan Mickey, and Terry Rozier for their involvement in the on-campus parties where Powell alleges sexual misconduct took place.

Investigations by the NCAA and UofL are currently underway.
