Junior Bridgeman talks about his transition to the Business sector

Junior Bridgeman solidified his spot in Louisville history in the early 1970’s after earning multiple Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year Awards, leading the Cards to a Final Four appearance in 1975, and helping usher in the Denny Crum Era of Louisville Basketball.

Bridgeman translated collegiate success into NBA success with the Milwaukee Bucks, where his number has since been retired. After his retirement from the NBA, Bridgeman entered the business sector where he arguably grew to even bigger heights after franchising over 100 Wendy’s restaurants.

Bridgeman stopped by the cn|2 studios Monday, and we had the opportunity to discuss the current Cardinals and his transition from pro-ball to the business world, but we started by asking him what it was like playing under Denny Crum during his years in a Louisville jersey.
