Jaylen Johnson Cleared to Play for UofL

After nearly six weeks UofL incoming freshman Jaylen Johnson is enrolled in classes at Louisville and has been cleared to play by the NCAA.
The delay came as the NCAA looked into Johnson’s academic record as well as his high school. Ypsilanti High School recently consolidated with other schools in the city’s school district, which caused a delay in Johnson’s paperwork being sent to the NCAA after his graduation.
The 6’8” Forward is the last of UofL’s freshman class to join the team. Although he hasn’t been able to work with the team all summer, Johnson is expected to compete for playing time this season.
