Is Teddy Bridgewater's stock falling?

Why did Former Louisville Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater meet with the Patriots on Wednesday? Is it possible the man who threw for almost four thousand yards last season is sliding downhill?
The Patriots have the 29th overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. Conventional wisdom would dictate that New England has no shot at getting Bridgewater. He has been projected as high as the top overall draft pick. However Bridgewater had, by his own accounts, a pretty rough pro day last month. This, after he refused to work out at the NFL Combine in February.
Some NFL experts feel Bridgewater’s throwing has been so unimpressive, that his stock could be falling, similar to what happened to Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers in the 2005 draft. Rodgers fell to 25th before the Packers drafted him. Of course now he is one of the best Quarterbacks in the NFL.
It only takes one team to fall in love with a player. Perhaps the Patriots are doing their due diligence in case Bridgewater does drop. After all, Tom Brady turns 37 this summer. That would be the same Tom Brady who was originally drafted in the 6th round. The NFL Draft begins on May 8th.
