How winless University of Louisville can defeat unbeaten Clemson

LOUISVILLE – UofL comes into Thursday night’s nationally televised game against Clemson winless, while the Tigers, ranked 9th in one poll and 11th in the other, are a perfect 2-and-oh.

However records can be deceiving. While Louisville was upset by Houston last weekend 34-31, the Cards looked impressive in an opening weekend loss to then 12th ranked Auburn.

Meanwhile Clemson’s two victories have come against FCS team Wofford and App State out of the Sunbelt. Thursday will be Clemson’s first true test of the season, but UofL Head Coach Bobby Petrino likes what he sees from the Tigers.

Former UofL QB Adam Froman, who also was a one time college head coach, discusses the match-up, along with why he thinks Sophomore Kyle Bolin has looked impressive at quarterback and why Freshman Lamar Jackson has struggled.
