Future Cardinals take basketball court for first time together

The best of the best in high school basketball are in Louisville this week for the Kentucky Derby Festival Basketball Classic. On Thursday, future Cards Chinanu Onuaku, Quentin Snider and Jaylen Johnson participated in Night of the Future Stars at Floyd Central High School for a 2-on-2 competition.

Onuaku is a 6’ 10” center from Lanham, Maryland.

Snider is a 6’1” point guard from Ballard High School and Kentucky’s Mr. Basketball.

Johnson is a ­6’ 9” forward from Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Onuaku, Snider and Johnson tip off together at Freedom Hall on Friday for the annual Basketball Classic.
