Former Louisville player Tim Henderson: "I never saw any of that go on"

Former Louisville guard Tim Henderson says he has no knowledge of sexual misconduct within the Louisville basketball recruiting program.

Henderson addressed the allegations during an interview with cn|2 Sports on Thursday. It has been almost two weeks since the release of “Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen,” a book in which Katina Powell alleges she was paid by former Louisville Director of Basketball Operations Andre McGee to provide girls to strip and have sex with multiple players and recruits over a four year period, from 2010-2014.

Henderson, who played for the Cardinals from 2010-2014, says he “never saw any of that.” He began his interview by addressing comments made by University of Kentucky Coach John Calipari about the scandal. He denies ever seeing anything like the events described in the book.(1:10)

Other former players have also come to the program’s defense. Earlier this week, former Louisville guard Luke Hancock told the Deener Show on ESPN 680 that he “never heard, saw anything.”

Since the allegations were made public, former recruit JaQuan Lyle confirmed the “gist of the allegations,” and WDRB’s Eric Crawford reported that a former Louisville player told NCAA investigators that there were strippers in the dorm.
