As NBA summer league play begins, several names familiar to local fans are showing up on rosters. The latest name to show up is Card standout Kyle Kuric and former Wildcat Deandre Liggins.

Both Kuric and Liggins will be playing for the Los Angeles Clippers as the team announced their final roster on Monday.

Liggins, who is currently playing in the Orlando summer league for the Detroit Pistons, will travel to Las Vegas to join the Clippers team when play begins July 11. Liggins is coming off a season in the D-League where he was named the Defensive Player of the Year and a D-League All-Star while with the Sioux Falls Sky Force, a Miami Heat affiliation. Liggins is currently a free agent.

Kuric has been playing ball overseas since leaving Louisville. He has spent the last two years in Spain playing for Tuenti Movil Estudiantes where he averaged 13 points and 3 rebounds per game last season. This will be Kuric’s second season playing in the summer league. He played for the Oklahoma City Thunder last year.
