The Louisville football team handled its business down in South Florida with a 34-3 over Florida International, but the Cards were hardly the story in week four of the college football season.

That title was designated to Clemson and Florida State, who battled back and forth until the top-ranked Seminoles emerged with a 23-17 overtime victory. The game was flooded with headlines, which included Clemson blowing opportunity after opportunity and FSU remaining unscathed despite the suspension of Jameis Winston.

Many additional ACC schools also made impressions over the weekend. Some were good, like Georgia Tech and Duke improving to 4-0. Others were bad, like North Carolina getting drilled by ECU and Virginia Tech losing its second straight after winning at Ohio State three weeks ago.

The cn|2 Sports crew wrapped up the week that was in the Atlantic Coast Conference in the weekly “Chalk Talk” segment.
