Charlie Strong Talks South Florida
11/21/2011 03:59 PM
Louisville coach Charlie Strong wants his team to focus on South Florida, not bowl bids. And don’t get him started about the newest Call of Duty video game, either. The Cards are sitting pretty … 6 and 5 overall and 4 and 2 in the Big East. And Strong says now is not the time to start dreaming about the different bowl scenarios that could play out in the coming weeks.
Strong also says he doesn’t want his team worried about B.J. Daniels, either. The USF quarterback sprained his right shoulder last week against Miami.
The coach also has high praise for junior Adrian Bushell, who was named Special Teams Player of the Week. Bushell returned the opening kickoff against UConn 100 yards for a touchdown.
With their win over UConn, the Cards will finish the year with a winning record in the Big East for the first time since 2006.
