Charlie Strong Talks WVU During Monday's Press Conference

10/31/2011 03:22 PM

UofL football coach Charlie Strong wants his team focused when they hit Morgantown this weekend to take on West Virginia. The Cards have won two straight heading into Saturday’s game, but haven’t won in Morgantown since 1990. Strong says the crowd is going to be loud and ugly, and they will have to remain focused if they want to win.

Strong is also praising his team’s defense, and crediting the return of some injured players as the reason why they performed so well against Syracuse.

The coach also says he’s not too worried about which conference the Cards will wind up in … but does admit, he is worried about how it will affect recruiting.

U of L must win at least two more regular season games if they are to be considered for a bowl game.
