Van Treese signs contract
Former UofL forward Stephan Van Treese will officially play pro ball in Japan, according to his Twitter account. UofL sports information director Kenny Klein tweeted that SVT will play for Niigata Albirex Basketball, and he’ll head to Japan on Aug. 27. This news comes after Rick Pitino mentioned Van Treese was looking into playing in Germany. As a senior at UofL, Van Treese averaged 2.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Best of luck to him!
