Cards Rise One Spot In Both Polls

The University of Louisville rose one spot in both the Associated Press and USA Today/ESPN coaches polls released on Monday. UofL (18-4, 6-3 in Big East) rose from 12th to 11th in the AP and went from No. 13 to No. 12 in the Coaches’ poll.

The Cardinals are one game behind Marquette and Syracuse for first place in the Big East. Louisville pounded Marquette 70-51 on Sunday and will travel to Rutgers (12-8, 3-6) Wednesday night.
