Sunday afternoon The Louisville Cardinals got production from some unlikely hitters.
Danny Rosenbaum went 4 for 5 with an RBI, Devin Hairston was 3 for 5 with an RBI, and Logan Taylor 3 for 3 including a big 2 run homer in the 6th, as Louisville beat Cal-State Fullerton 9-3. The victory forces a third and deciding game on Monday. Rosenbaum says his mental approach is the key.

The Cards pounded out 9 runs on 16 hits, in staving off elimination. Winning pitcher Brendan McKay, who last week was voted Freshman of the Year, pitched into the 8th, scattering eight hits and two runs. Louisville never trailed in the game.

So it all comes down to the third and deciding game on Monday at 7 p.m EDT. The winner advances to the College World Series. The loser calls it a season. UofL Head Coach Dan McDonnell says he is enjoying things regardless of the outcome.
