Cards not Satisfied with Success

05/29/2015 07:30 AM

Louisville Baseball is riding the wave of success. In their first season in the ACC the Cards won all 10 league series they played, won the Atlantic Division while setting a record for conference wins, and made it to the conference championship game before losing to Florida State.

The Cards also had two players selected to join the U.S.A. Collegiate National Team in OF Corey Ray and RHP Zach Burdi; while Ray and RHP Kyle Funkhouser were named 2015 Louisville Slugger All-Americans. Despite having so many reasons to rest on their accomplishments, Louisville Baseball is striving for more. Namely, a College World Series title.

The first step in that quest is beating Morehead State in Friday night’s NCAA Regional.
