Cards are a win away from a trip to the Final Four

Montrezl Harrell scored a game high 24 points, and Terry Rozier had 17 points and 14 rebounds as the Louisville Cardinals defeated NC State 75-65. The victory avenges a loss at the YUM Center to the Pack last month.
The Cardinals trailed NC State 39-31 early in the second half, before going on a 16-2 run. UofL would never trail again. Seems like this team has a new hero every game, and that trend continued Friday Night. Anton Gill came off the bench to score seven points. The Raleigh native scored them all in the second half, and all against an NC State team he group up following.
Quentin Snider had 14 points while Wayne Blackshear had 10. More importantly the Cards are playing with a confidence that has them believing they can beat anybody.
Louisville is now 27-8 on the season. The Cards have a practice on Saturday before playing Michigan State in Sunday’s Elite 8 game. Tip off is 2:20pm ET. The winner heads to the Final Four the following weekend.
