Bridgewater on Rutgers: The Numbers Don't Lie

10/08/2013 09:03 PM

On Thursday, Louisville will battle Rutgers in a nationally-televised game on ESPN. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is well aware of the attention the match-up will receive. He says the Scarlet Knights’ defense will be one of the biggest challenges for the Cardinals.

For the second year in a row, the Cardinals could face Rutgers down a key player. Last year, Bridgewater sat out for the first half due to a broken wrist. This year, Louisville could play without star Wide Receiver DeVante Parker after he suffered a shoulder injury during the Cards’ game against Temple. Coach Charlie Strong will make the decision on Thursday. Bridgewater says Parker’s absence will be felt if that happens.
