Bridgewater all over the boards in latest mock drafts

CBS Sports has released its latest NFL Mock Draft and it’s not good news for Teddy Bridgewater or Johnny Manziel. After failing to participate in several drills at the combine in Indy followed by an “underwhelming” Pro Day, former Louisville signal caller Teddy Bridgewater has dropped significantly in CBS Sports’ most recent mock draft. Once considered the top overall pick, CBS has Teddy falling all the way to number 20 before being selected by Cleveland. CBS also has Manziel out of the first round altogether.

Bridgewater recently sat down with former NFL coach turned announcer Jay Gruden for Gruden’s QB Camp in which the coach has high praise for Teddy for his football IQ among other things

The latest NFL/SI Mock Draft is not nearly as drastic for Teddy. They have the former Card going to Jacksonville with the number three overall pick. According to Jay Gruden, a so-so Pro Day is not nearly as important as individual workouts so Teddy has plenty of time to silence any doubters before draft day gets here. The 2014 NFL Draft runs May 8-10 in New York City.
