BELLARMINE | Women's soccer duo breaks school records on same play

Fans at last Friday’s Lewis vs. Bellarmine women’s soccer game witnessed history.

Bellarmine won the game 2-1 in overtime, and in the process, the Knights’ record book was rewritten.

Lauren Holder made the game-winning assist Friday to Mary Beth Gorham, who scored the game-winning goal in overtime. They each broke program records on that play.

Gorham became the Knights’ career leader in goals with 40.

Meanwhile, Holder became the program’s career leader in assists with 17.
