Bellarmine Athletics officials announced today that Jenni Horvath Grzebin has been named as the school’s new head volleyball coach.
Grzebin previously served as assistant volleyball coach at the University of Toledo and the University of Buffalo. She is also a former player at Xavier.
“Jenni’s passion and enthusiasm will be a welcome infusion into our volleyball program,” Director of Athletics Scott Wiegandt said in a press release. “The manner in which Jenni has been embraced by the local volleyball community is impressive and should pay dividends in future recruiting.”
Grzebin takes the reigns following one of Bellarmine volleyball’s best seasons in school history. The team went 18-8 and competed in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Tournament.
Bellarmine will open its conference play on the road at William Jewell on September 21.
