An Inside Look at UofL's Incoming Freshmen
04/10/2015 12:12 PM
It has been an eventful first two weeks of the off-season for Louisville Basketball.
Junior guard Anton Gill announced his intentions to transfer less than 24 hours after the Cards were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament. Then just eight days later, rising sophomore Shaqquan Aaron announced that he too would be leaving the program.
Despite those two losses, the team signed former Cleveland State point guard Trey Lewis; who will join UofL for his senior year.
The Cards will also have a strong incoming freshman class. Trinity Standout Raymond Spalding will help fill the void left by Montrezl Harrell, while 6’8 swingman Deng Adel will presumably pick up where Wayne Blackshear left off at the small forward position. Lastly, four star recruit Donovan Mitchell will help fill out the guard spot as UofL loses Terry Rozier to the NBA Draft.
With such a big roster overhaul this summer, Steve Jones of the Courier Journal joins us to break down how all the new additions will fit for the Cards.
