Sophomore forward/center Akoy Agau is transferring from UofL according to the University.

Agau played 11 minutes in three games this season, accumulating zero points and one rebound. Last season, he tallied 17 points in 19 games.

“This has been a great opportunity for me,” said Agau in a release from the school. “I want to thank Coach Pitino and the entire staff. I learned a lot in the two years I have been here and built a great connection with everyone. Everyone in this program is part of my family and it is sad to leave, but this is the best decision for me. I’m always going to be a part of the Louisville family.”

Agau missed six weeks over the summer after undergoing surgery for a sports hernia. At this time it is unclear where he may transfer.
