Aaron Harrison and Kentucky do it again

04/05/2014 11:00 PM

For the third straight game, Kentucky Freshman Guard Aaron Harrison hits a game winning three point shot. For the third straight game the Wildcats survive and advance. James Young had 17 points as Kentucky nips Wisconsin 74-73. The Badgers had the final shot but Traevon Jackson, who seconds earlier had missed a key free throw, saw his last second shot miss by inches. With the victory, the Wildcats move on to Monday Night’s NCAA Championship where they will play Connecticut, a 63-53 winner over Florida. Kentucky will be going for a second National championship in three years. The Wildcats being an 8 seed, and UConn as a 7, means the title game will be contested between the two lowest seeded teams combined, ever. Monday Night’s finale is scheduled to begin at 9:10pm ET.
