A Pair of Players Look Back on Western's Loss to Navy
09/13/2011 03:22 PM
Senior linebacker Ben Duvall and sophomore wide receiver Antonio Andrews spoke about Western’s 40 to 14 loss to Navy last weekend, and didn’t look too happy doing so. Andrews says that while he was glad to get some solid playing time in the game, he wishes the outcome had been different.
Andrews was used heavily on kick returns against Navy and compiled 202 return yards, including one for 75 yards in the second quarter. That’s a noticeable improvement over the Kentucky season-opener, where he touched the ball just three times. Andrews says he expects to be in a “do-everything” position for WKU’s offense when their suit up against Indiana State this weekend.
Senior outside linebacker Ben Duvall, who led the Toppers with 14 tackles against Navy, says the team’s morale will not be an issue going into Saturday.
Kickoff against Indiana State is 7pm Saturday in Bowling Green.
