A chance to own history

11/12/2015 06:30 AM

Saturday at the Louisville Slugger Museum, Hunt Auctions will be auctioning off some incredible pieces of baseball history. Among the high-end items are actual bats used by Jackie Robinson and Lou Gehrig (valued at around 30-thousand dollars), a baseball autographed by Babe Ruth, and Atlanta Braves World Series rings.

Dave Hunt, with Hunt Auctions, has held many auctions in Louisville. Saturday’s 11 a.m. auction is preceded by Friday’s appraisal fair. This is a chance for you to bring your own items in to be appraised by experts. The person with the most valuable item gets to meet former all-star Andre Dawson.
