A Bridge(water) connects Louisville with Minnesota

Minnesota Vikings fans discovered something those in Louisville have known for years, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is something special. Sunday, making his first NFL start, the former UofL QB lit up the scoreboard, as the Vikings upset the Atlanta Falcons 41-28. Teddy finished 19 of 30 for 317 yards. The rookie ran for 27 yards while also scoring a touchdown.
Bridgewater had Minnesota players and fans energized from the beginning. The Vikings led for much of the game, and even when the Falcons pulled in front 28-27 in the third quarter, Bridgewater rallied his team, leading the Vikes on the go ahead drive in the fourth quarter. Bridgewater threw no interceptions. About the only bad thing that happened to the Vikings first round draft pick is he hurt his ankle late in the game. Bridgewater was forced to leave the contest, but a few minutes later, he returned to the sideline and was able to walk off the field unassisted. With the win Minnesota improves to 2-2 while the Falcons also fall to 2-2. Be looking for lots of reaction from Teddy Bridgewater Monday at 6:30pm on cn|2 sports.
